Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of the Olsen Partnership’s approach to how we conduct business and we take our CSR agenda very seriously. Our corporate goals include social and environmentally responsible initiatives across all areas of our business; with all employees sharing in our mission to be responsible citizens and be environmentally aware.

Our CSR agenda currently focuses on two key areas:

Colleagues and community

To ensure we deliver a first class service to all our clients and suppliers, we ensure our skills are up to date and relevant, by providing training, coaching and mentoring to all members of our team. We encourage the dissemination of information and knowledge at weekly team meetings and take part in forums, seminars and industry events to keep ahead of the game.

We support Business in the Community (BITC) by donating our time to enhance the employability of prospects of ex-offenders. Richard Olsen, our MD, recently conducted a workshop at HMP Peterborough as part of their Right Step Project which encouraged participants to think about setting up their own business as self-employed owners.

  • Within the office, our team is encouraged to purchase Fairtrade tea and coffee to support the foundation’s vision.
  • Throughout the company, the team is encouraged to recycle and re-use wherever possible and this is now integral to the everyday function within the office.
  • To ensure the well-being of our team, all staff are inducted and trained in issues of health and safety and encouraged to take regular breaks from their desks and using VDU equipment.
